Best Ayurvedic cooking methods

The simpler the cooking method the more wholesome your meal will be. I do believe that.

Why? Because the result will be less processed, more natural, fresher and more easily digestible food.

A fundamental concept in Ayurveda is to practice Agni Samskara or REFINEMENT BY FIRE (i.e. cooking) to all vegetables even just for a minute. This will make vegetables lighter for digestion as it will help the internal heat or agni to work better.

So when it comes to cooking methods, I definitely go for sauté and steaming.
