I discovered Ayurveda in 2003 and it changed my life. Not only has it helped me to improve my eating and lifestyle habits but I’ve learned new ways of thinking and living too.
I'm grateful to have met inspiring teachers at the College of Ayurveda UK, where I studied to become an Ayurveda Practitioner. I am now dedicated to practising, sharing my knowledge and hopefully inspiring others through both private consultations and workshops.
Ayurveda understands that everyone needs a different approach based on our personal constitution, any imbalances we may have and our state of mind. The philosophy also appreciates the power of the mind and that the best therapies are the ones which take this into consideration. I find helping people with tailored Ayurvedic solutions incredibly rewarding, whether its resolving children’s respiratory disorders or improving people’s digestion.
My trips to India have had a significant impact on my learning and understanding of Ayurveda. However, I appreciate that the thousands of years of Ayurvedic wisdom need to be translated for the modern world in order to make it relevant and accessible to our lives today. This has become my passion and purpose. I love the challenge of bridging the gap between the traditional wisdom and the modern mind-set. By interpreting Ayurvedic principles into more familiar practices that suit the modern, western palette and lifestyle, I hope I can share and spread its benefits more widely.
