In addition to its benefits for skin and hair health, pineapple juice is known for its ability to alleviate fever, stomach issues such as bloating and acidity, and can even serve as an appetiser.
- Skin of one pineapple
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2 cloves
- 2 cardamom pots
- 1 star anise
- 1 liter water
- Honey or Maple syrup if preferred sweet
1. Begin by washing the pineapple thoroughly before removing the skin.
2. Place all the ingredients in a pot and bring to a boil. Allow the mixture to simmer for approximately 30 minutes, or until the liquid has reduced to ¼ of its original volume.
3. If you have a sweet tooth, allow the preparation to cool before adding honey to taste.
For an extra touch of flavor, consider incorporating spices such as cinnamon, star anise, cardamom, and cloves.
These spices not only enhance digestion but also offer a multitude of other remarkable properties, which we will delve into later. Feel free to choose your preferred spices. I personally used all of them, and the result was truly amazing.
Cheers to your health and enjoyment!
