A refreshing and nourishing pineapple drink

Besides improving your skin and hair health, pineapple juice is excellent in case of fever, stomach problems like bloating and acidity or as appetizer. It’s anthelmintic and antipyretic.



Ingredients:

- Skin of one pineapple

- 1 cinnamon stick

- 2 cloves

- 2 cardamom pots

- 1 star anise

- 1 liter water

- Honey or Maple syrup if preferred sweet


Method:

1. Wash the pineapple before removing the skin

2. Put all the ingredients to boil for 30 minutes or when the liquid is reduced to ¼

3. If you’ve got sweet tooth, first let the preparation cool down and then add honey to taste.


Mixing this juice with spices like cinnamon, star anise, cardamom and cloves is a bonus.

All these spices help improve digestion among their many excellent properties, which we will discuss later in detail. You can choose the ones you prefer, I made mine with all of them and it tasted amazing.
