Fruity breakfast

A FRUITY BREAKFAST makes me feel ENERGETIC. Here is a simple fruit salad recipe but with the Ayurvedic approach.


The main taste of this dish is SWEET, but it’s a HEALTHY sweet in contrast to pastries. Healthy sweets are easy to digest and help you nurture your body without building up Ama (toxins).


The amount of seeds and nuts and the type of fruit will depend on each person’s constitution and imbalance and to check that, we need a proper Ayurvedic assessment. However, you can have a go at this yummy breakfast and see how your digestion feels afterwards.

  • 1 pear, grated

  • ½ apple, diced

  • ½ or ¾ banana, diced

  • 1 tsp seeds

  • 5-7 walnuts and almonds

  • 1 tsp raisins

  • Spices: cardamom, cinnamon, clove (A pinch of each or your preferred one/s) *

  • 1 tsp grated coconut (optional)

  • 1 tsp honey

  • A few drops of lemon


*I have this blend already ground. I use it for sweet dishes. Tip: only grind a little at the time as ground spices lose their complexity after 6 months
