Fruity breakfast

Indulge in the invigorating power of a fruity breakfast that leaves you feeling energised and revitalised.

While the main taste of this dish is SWEET, it is a nourishing sweetness that sets it apart from sugary pastries. These healthy sweets are gentle on the digestive system, promoting overall well-being and preventing the accumulation of toxins known as Ama.

This unique fruit salad recipe takes an Ayurvedic approach, ensuring a harmonious balance of flavours and health benefits.

The combination of seeds, nuts, and fruits can be tailored to suit individual constitutions and imbalances, requiring a thorough Ayurvedic assessment. However, you can still enjoy this delightful breakfast and observe how your digestion responds afterwards.

Here's what you'll need:

- 1 grated pear

- ½ diced apple

- ½ or ¾ diced banana

- 1 teaspoon of your preferred seeds

- A handful of walnuts and almonds

- 1 teaspoon of raisins

- A pinch of cardamom, cinnamon, and clove (or your preferred spice/s)

- 1 teaspoon of grated coconut (optional)

- 1 teaspoon of honey

- A few drops of lemon juice

Combine all the ingredients in a bowl, ensuring they are evenly mixed. Allow the flavors to meld together for a few minutes before savoruing this delightful fruity breakfast. Feel the natural energy surge through your body, leaving you ready to conquer the day ahead.

I have this pre-ground blend of spices that I specifically use for sweet dishes. Here's a helpful tip: it's best to grind only a small amount at a time. Ground spices tend to lose their intricate flavours and aromas after approximately six months. By grinding smaller quantities, you can ensure that your sweet dishes maintain the complexity and richness of the spices for a longer period.
